Salary: Starting at $70000 / annually - depending upon education / experience

Job Summary

Woods System of Care is the parent company to Woods Services and ten affiliated organizations. This position supports both organizations through the creation and implementation of a strategic, multi-faceted communications plan to advance brand identity, broaden awareness of their programs and initiatives, increase their visibility across key stakeholder audiences, and expand their base of support.

  • Supports Sr. Director of Strategic Communications in developing, deploying and managing an integrated communications system that ensures consistent branding and mission messaging for Woods System of Care and Woods Services that are supported by measureable objectives and are evaluated for impact.
  • Builds and executes a digital social media strategy plan across various platforms through research, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification. Assists in developing appropriate metrics to evaluate effectiveness of digital strategies and adjust as needed.
  • Takes initiative to develop and create unique content and strategies to elevate Woods System of Care’s important work and increase brand awareness.
  • Generates, edits, publishes, design graphics, and share daily content that increases the organization’s position as a respected thought leader and builds meaningful connections, grows followers, and encourages active engagement.
  • Provides design and visual presentation support for internal and external communications as needed.
  • Supports Woods’ Development Department and fund raising efforts by driving broader awareness and donor support, assisting with special event websites, including but not limited to, woodsgolfclassic.org and www.runforwoods.org and integrating social media.
  • Routinely photographs, records and engages with program staff and individuals supported by Woods in order to expand photo and video resources that tell Woods’ story.
  • Collaborates closely with Sr. Director of Marketing and Outreach to promote Woods’ entities through social media and email marketing.
  • Serves as an integral member of the Woods Development, Communications, and Marketing team. Participates in weekly meetings and provide input on ways to expand outreach.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with management, peers, clients and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • College degree and minimum of five years of experience in the digital communications field or closely related experience, preferably in the non-profit arena.
  • Experience using Constant Contact, video editing software and photo editing software are strongly preferred. Experience with Wordpress and Simplified are a plus but not required.
  • Expert level knowledge of leveraging social media technologies such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, blogs, and working knowledge of web analytics software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills and be highly organized.
  • Proven ability to juggle many projects and pivot quickly when needed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lb.
  • Some limited travel to affiliate organizations will be required as part of this role.
  • This role is a hybrid position with an expectation of 2 days a week in-office in Langhorne and 3 days a week working remote. This schedule may fluctuate slightly to accommodate special events that need in-person coverage.

Our Langhorne campus is home to 550 residents, and provides outpatient and day programs.
