The Impact Youll MakeAs a Project Engineer at Lam, youre not merely managing projects youre driving advancements integral to the design and development of Lams products. Leading cross-functional teams, youll steer the execution of engineering projects, leveraging your technical prowess and strategic insight to deliver enhanced products. What Youll DoSeeking a skilled Technical Writer/Project Coordinator with a proven track record in documenting complex engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clear and concise language composition and a keen understanding of technical information and jargon.
Who Were Looking For- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles, processes, and methodologies.
- Prior experience in technical documentation, particularly in writing design procedures, test procedures, design and drafting standards, and engineering and business process documents.
- Ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts to collect inputs and requirements, synthesize, and develop documentation.
- Proficiency in translating and composing complex technical content and jargon into simplified documents.
- Extensive experience using styles in Microsoft Word, specifically with numeric and bulleted indexing.
- Solid Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Formatting, Graphing), MS Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Some experience with QuickBase.
- Familiarity with SharePoint (adding site content, editing views, checking permissions).
- Basic PC setup skills (to be able to set up meeting rooms for design reviews).
- Ability to work flexible hours when business needs dictate.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in resolving scheduling conflicts and accommodating last-minute changes with competing priorities.
- Experience with SharePoint document archival and workflow management.
- Experience editing documents in a collaborative environment (SharePoint, OneDrive) and co-authoring.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex youll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex youll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $70,000.00 - $155,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
