Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of marketing strategies and tactics for the Cardiology business assigned franchise(s) including but not limited to pricing strategy, product positioning, promotional programs, sales training, clinical trial support, publication planning, advisory boards, congresses, publications, advertising, digital media, medical education and post market surveillance.
  • Work closely with Sales and Market Access teams to develop annual forecasts based on market trends and the implementation of approved marketing strategies.
  • Develop and manage KOL relationships as appropriate for each therapeutic area.
  • Launch new products and LCM plans by identifying unmet needs, understanding customer requirements, creating innovative solutions, building consensus among internal collaborators, and executing detailed launches.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns globally through coordination with regional marketing leads.
  • Coordinate all marketing submissions required for regulatory approvals/clearances.
  • Monitor competitive activity.
  • Support the Medical Education team to build high quality educational materials that are aligned with local regulations.
  • Establish strategic alliances and collaborations with external organizations and key opinion leaders to further BD's reputation and interests.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and make recommendations regarding their potential impact on current and future markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient access.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging industry trends and changes in healthcare policy and advocacy efforts related to the cardiology market.

About You:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree required; masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing required.
  • Strong analytical skills and consistent record of interpreting data and communicating insights to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated skills in successfully leading cross functional teams to deliver against ambitious timelines.
  • Experience working in the cardiology space strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20%.
