MANAGER OPEN TO CANDIDATES OUT OF STATE. ASSIGNMENT IS REMOTE. CLIENT LAPTOP PROVIDED FOR CANDIDATE WITHIN CLIENT SERVICE TERRITORY. IF OUTSIDE OF SERVICE TERRITORY THE RESPECTIVE SUPPLIER MUST PROVIDE.

Research, design, and develop eLearning, virtual, or instructor-led learning solutions for technical, compliance, systems, or soft skills concepts, following established instructional design methodologies.

Engage cross-functional teams to conceptualize training design and content. Define learning objectives, course structure, learning content, and assessments.

Complete a detailed analysis of each task to be trained/supported for target audience, business process, and systems.

Work independently to develop, or guide other instructional designers to develop, learning materials including storyboards, eLearning modules, virtual learning, student and facilitator guides, activities, scenarios, assessments, or performance support.

Review project requirements to scope development effort and propose learning solutions. Identify and escalate development risks, as needed.

Review and quality check courses for accuracy of content and proper use of instructional graphics, scenarios, or interactions. Ensure the use of clearly written and effective instructional text, audio, or video scripts appropriate for the target audience.

Follow company standards and policies to archive completed documents and ensure proper record keeping.

Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts including task analysis, alpha, beta, and answer validation meetings. Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation. Receive, validate and incorporate feedback.

Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience developing eLearning, virtual or instructor-led training
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Flexibility to organize and prioritize multiple, simultaneous development efforts.
  • Desired: Knowledge of training development applications: Oracle UPK or SAP Enable Now, QuestionMark, AuthorIt, or Empower the User
  • Desired: Knowledge of graphic design, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
