Event Content Manager, B2B Tech

We are seeking an Event Content Manager for our client's Global Events team, which is responsible for driving customer engagement with the brand and its portfolio of products through proprietary events and tentpole experiences. The purpose of these events is to increase brand awareness, drive business growth, build loyalty, and educate attendees.
In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and execute content strategy for field and strategic event programs, facilitating alignment across business groups (product marketing, brand, customer marketing, sales, and fieldanizations). In addition, you will drive the end-to-end execution of a call for speakers program, and managemunication and tracking of milestones, ensuring deliverables are met on time.

Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute content strategy for field and strategic event programs.
Facilitate alignment across business groups (product marketing, brand, customer marketing, sales, and fieldanizations).
Drive the end-to-end execution of a call for speakers program.
Managemunication and tracking of milestones, ensuring deliverables are met on time.
Research and identify external speaker candidates that support overall event goals and objectives, aligned with GTM messaging priorities.
Work internally to identify, recruit, and manage the best SME speakers for each event.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure content is leveraged across multiple business channels post-event.
Coordinate with external vendors, speakers, and partners to ensure seamless content delivery and event execution including on-site rehearsals.
Assist with event logistics related to sessions including session room allocation, agenda management, and defining requirements for room set-up, A/V, live streaming and digital content.
Provide white-glovemunication and logistics management of C-level customer speakers.
Analyze event performance metrics and provide insights and rmendations for continuous improvement.
Ability to travel onsite to events, with some weekend travel required.
Desired Skills and Experience:
4-6 years of content marketing/executivemunications and/or event content experience in the technology sector.
General kledge andfort with event and project management software, including Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Swoogo, Sessionboard, RainFocus, and Keynote.
Experience managing event content & operations workstreams distributed globally on larger corporate event programs (e.g., 1,000-10,000 attendees)
Demonstrated success in event content management with a focus on operational excellence.
Resourceful, self-starter with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong project and program management and execution skills.
Comfortable interfacing with senior leadership and developing logistic plans that meet the d vision and needs of both internal and external customers.
Proficiency in content management tools and platforms
Decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional stakeholders in different geographies and business units both internally and externally.
Comfortable creating cue sheets, VOG, MC scripts.
Compensation: $41/hr
Duration: ASAP for 1 year
Location: Remote, US (PACIFIC time preferred, then CT)
