KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, DPP Communications/Copy Editor to join our Department of Professional Practice organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support authors and project teams through the publication production process as a member of the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) Comm team, (such as copyediting, proofreading, formatting/styling) leveraging standardized templates, while ensuring production deadlines are met
  • Apply knowledge of what it takes to publish content, ensuring a high standard of quality prior to publication internally and/or externally
  • Liaise with on-/off-shore delivery teams, and others to ensure the timely publishing of content to various internal and external platforms
  • Assist with development and deployment of weekly internal/external communications
  • Utilize workflow tools to manage the efficient movement of publications through the production process on a real-time basis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of recent experience in providing operational support for formatting technical content; preferably in a professional services or public accounting firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills for internal and external audiences
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint
  • Willingness to learn and use technology to drive solutions for improving the efficiency, and effectiveness of workflows; capability to thrive and flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects; proficiency to work effectively in teams and independently, commitment to high performance and continuous improvement
  • Ability to travel to New York City (NYC) as needed
