We're currently seeking a Content Writer to join our Headquarters team!

The Content Writer is responsible for creating clear, concise, and readable content for Mister Car Wash, including news articles, corporate communications, operating procedures, training and technical documents, reference guides, video scripts and storyboards, and more. In partnership with the Senior Manager of Internal Communications, the Content Writer ensures documents speak with a consistent "Mister Voice". While based in Operations, this individual serves as an invaluable resource for all Mister Car Wash departments and employees.

What You Will Do:

Produce polished, well-researched, informative, and engaging content for distribution across all levels of the company
Assist in planning and updating Mister Connect's publication calendar
Collaborate with subject-matter experts and conduct thorough research to gather data, verify facts, and resolve questions
Revise content as needed to meet stakeholder expectations
Design page layouts in Mister Connect with an eye toward balancing aesthetics and functionality
Partner with support teams to create polished graphics and short videos
Ensure all writing conforms to Mister Car Wash's Internal Communications style guide
Manage time and track and execute multiple projects with limited direction

How You Will Shine:

High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field preferred
Proven record of excellent writing with the ability to adjust voice, tone, sentence structure, and word choice to meet the needs of a diverse readership
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships, ask relevant questions, and seek clarification when needed
Relentless attention to detail coupled with the ability to maintain focus on the big picture
Willingness to accept and act on constructive feedback
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (knowledge of videography and HTML a plus)
